Description
Wisconsin Safe & Healthy (WISH) Schools Center builds the capacity of Wisconsin public school districts to implement programs in the prevention and intervention of alcohol, tobacco, and other drug abuse, mental health, and promote school safety in order to reduce barriers to learning through training and technical assistance.
The goal of the WISH Center is to provide professional learning opportunities to build the capacity of Wisconsin schools to plan, implement, and evaluate the programs that most effectively prevent alcohol and other drug abuse and violent behaviors among youth in order to reduce barriers to learning.
See the WISH Center Website for training and workshops offered throughout the state.
The WISH Center is a collaborative project between the Department of Public Instruction (DPI) and the Cooperative Educational Service Agency (CESA) Statewide Network (CSN).
