CESA 9 E-rate Services provides interested eligible districts and educational organizations deep assistance to maneuver successfully through the federal E-rate program application gauntlet.

Description
E-Rate application service includes:

Submit application forms 470, 471, 472, 486, assist with 498 (for disbursement of funds by ACH), and 500. Also, submit service substitutions when necessary

Act as contact for all funding requests, program integrity reviews, audits, and appeals

Handle routine E-Rate activities such as SPIN number changes, information updates, and requests for extensions. Coordinate the addition or deletion of parent, child, and miscellaneous E-rate-defined entities.

Management and calculation of Category 2 pre-discount budgets, including reconciliation of committed funds against actual to adjust Category 2 pre-discount nets for upcoming funding years. Additionally, provide assistance to clients with the management of Category 1 E-rate Hotspots pre-discount budgets.

Assist with vendor negotiations for discounted bills (Service Provider Invoice) as well as reviews and recommendations regarding vendor 471 proposals for appropriate E-Rate construction

CESA 9 will provide interactive communication to district oversight personnel assigned to approve E-Rate applications prior to submission
