Mounting evidence suggests that providing teachers with access to high-quality, standards-aligned instructional materials and curriculum-based professional learning can result in improvements in student outcomes, making this a research-based continuous improvement strategy. The Continuous School Improvement (CSI) staff at CESA 9 offers the following support for reviewing, selecting, and implementing instructional materials:
Level I: CESA 9 staff provide comprehensive support (consultation and facilitation) over the course of the school year.
Level II: CESA 9 staff provide high-level consultation support over the course of the school year.

Includes consultation and resources for district/school leadership to lead their own teams in review, selection, and implementation of instructional materials. This consultation includes collaborative planning with leadership and development of agendas, slide decks, and other resources to be utilized by district leadership. (8-12 days)
Level III: CESA 9 staff provide resources and occasional consultation over the course of the school year.

Includes sample agendas, slide decks, and other sample resources to be customized by district leadership. Consultation can support some customization of those resources, as well as troubleshooting support along the way. (4-5 days)
Level IV: CESA 9 staff provide resources and consultation to get the review and selection process started.
