Description
A Deaf/Hard of Hearing (DHH) Program Support Teacher provides assessment of students suspected of, or currently diagnosed with DHH educational impairment and special education needs, then develops and implements an intervention plan to meet those needs. Services include:
- Assessment of children suspected or currently diagnosed with DHH
- Timely and comprehensive written reports based on the assessment
- Participation in the IEP team process, as assigned
- Provision of direct services to children with DHH impairment
- Maintenance/improvement of assessment and instructional skills
