Highway Exit to CESA 9 Closed Starting 3/30/26 – Plan Alternate Route
Beginning March 30, the WIS 86 exit over US 51 in Tomahawk will be closed for construction. This closure impacts the route many use to get to CESA 9.
Detour Routes:
From the north: Use County A (Exit 231) From the south: Use County S (Exit 225) From the east: One option is to take Highway D to Kings Road, which will loop you past the School District of Tomahawk From the west: Highway 86 remains open to the office
The project is expected to continue until June, so please allow extra travel time and plan accordingly.

The School Psychologist is responsible for providing comprehensive psychological services to multiple schools within a designated region. They will facilitate special education referral, evaluation, IEP, placement, and procedures in compliance with local policy and federal/state regulations. They support students' learning and emotional well-being by working collaboratively with educators, parents, and other professionals to create safe, healthy, and supportive learning environments that strengthen connections between home, school, and the community for all students.

The School Occupational Therapist supports students in developing the functional skills necessary to participate successfully in their educational environment. This position provides evaluation, consultation, and direct occupational therapy services to students with disabilities in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).You are expected to provide reasonable extra duty services and are encouraged to schedule appropriate prep time. Responsibilities, assignments, and service locations may vary and will be determined based on district priorities and student needs.

The School Physical Therapist (PT) provides physical therapy services to students with disabilities or physical impairments to support access to education and participation in school activities. The PT works collaboratively with students, families, educators, and related service providers to develop, implement, and monitor individualized programs that promote functional mobility, independence, and safety within the educational environment.

As a Speech and Language Pathologist, you will provide direct and/or consultative services to identified students with disabilities, as indicated in the student’s IEP. You will provide assessment, intervention, and support services to help students develop effective communication skills and succeed academically and socially. Your workday will coincide with the workday of the district(s) in which you are providing services. You are expected to provide reasonable extra duty services and are encouraged to schedule appropriate prep time. Travel to school districts in the CESA 9 region of Wisconsin may be required for this position.
