Description
The WiMLSS Project, Wisconsin Multi-Level Systems of Support, aims to improve outcomes for all students through the use of MLSS. As stated on the Department of Public Instruction (DPI) website, MLSS includes the systems and structures used by a district and/or school in order to ensure the provision of “equitable services, practices, and resources to every learner”. . . including “high-quality instruction, strategic use of data, and collaboration.”
What is available to schools and districts?
The project will provide in-person, hybrid, and virtual professional learning, coaching, and technical assistance for schools and districts related to Wisconsin’s Framework for WiMLSS to build knowledge, skills, and dispositions to improve outcomes for all students through systems-building, including:
- Learning about key features of a framework for WiMLSS
- Behavioral supports
- Universal instruction in literacy and math
- Culturally Responsive Practices
