Description
The Speech Clinician provides direct therapy, student assessment, IEP team participation, and consultation to staff and parents. More specifically, services would include:
- Evaluate students referred for a suspected disability in speech and language.
- Participate on the IEP team as assigned, including the preparation of timely and appropriate individual IEP team member reports.
- Participation in the preparation and implementation of the individual education plan (IEP) goals and the review of the IEP.
- Provide direct speech and language therapy/consultation.
- Provide communication and follow-up with significant others, i.e., regular education teachers, special education staff, parents, administrators and other related agencies, etc.
- Complete local, state, and federal forms/surveys as requested.
- Assist in the completion of necessary documentation for the purpose of third party billing.
- Complete necessary local, state and CESA forms.
