Larry Mancl |
Advisor | In July 2005, I accepted the position as 7-12 Principal for the Tri-County Area School District, while maintaining an active role in the school forest and environmental education programs. In 2008, I accepted a position as Associate Principal at John Muir Middle School in Wausau, Wisconsin. My responsibilities focused on literacy and math curricula, master scheduling and staffing, student discipline, technology integration, fifth and eighth grade academic transition, professional and paraprofessional evaluations and job appraisals, and facilitation of building level goals. In 2015 I accepted the principalship at John Muir Middle School. I made instructional coaching an intentional focus of mine, in addition to the other responsibilities that the position entailed. After a very rewarding 34 year career in formal education, I retired at the end of June.
