Description
Wi Digital Learning Plan and Future Ready Framework
The Wisconsin Digital Learning Plan is built on the Future Ready Schools digital learning framework as a vision for student learning. The purpose of the Future Ready Framework is to help your district team -- including administrators, teachers, librarians, and technology integrators -- understand the major components of using technology to:
-
transform learning through collaborative dialogue, planning, and budgeting processes
-
identify opportunity gaps in your district related to your continuous improvement and strategic planning goals
-
discuss integrated funding plans across federal, state, local, and other funds sources to fulfill your vision for student learning
-
develop specific action plans to address them
While formal technology plans are no longer required by state or federal statutes, it is strongly recommended that districts use the 2016 Wisconsin Digital Learning Plan as a planning guide to achieving short and long-term digital learning goals. Districts are encouraged to integrate digital learning planning into their district strategic and continuous improvement planning processes. The Plan’s alignment with federal and state laws, policies, and initiatives makes it a valuable resource as districts implement the components of the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA).
